Purpose of the Position

The Control Immigration Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with South Africa’s immigration laws and regulations through enforcement activities, investigations, inspections, arrests, detention processes, and deportation operations.

The role contributes directly to border management, immigration control, national security, and the prevention of unlawful migration.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must possess:

Educational Qualification

A recognised NQF Level 6 qualification accredited by SAQA in one of the following fields:

Experience

  • A minimum of two years’ experience within a law enforcement environment.

Driver Requirements
