Job Purpose:

The primary objective is to elevate client experiences by delivering outstanding service, catering to client needs using the Global One product offering, aiming to support clients in banking better and living better.

Requirements:

Experience:

  • Minimum: 4
    • 3 to 6 months of prior client service experience in a retail/financial/banking environment.
    • If no experience, consideration given to candidates with a relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Ideal:
    • Over 1 year’sff experience in a client service role within a retail/financial/banking environment.
    • Demonstrated track record in sales and client interaction.

Qualifications (Minimum):

  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or a similar field
  • Certification in Finance or Banking

Knowledge:

  • Minimum:
    • Understanding of basic calculations.
    • Knowledge of retail/consumer service environment.
  • Ideal:
    • Familiarity with Capitec Bank Products.
    • Understanding of internal business processes, organizational policies (including BCGP principles).

Skills:

  • Communication Skills
  • Interpersonal & Relationship Management Skills
  • Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)

Conditions of Employment:

  • Clear criminal and credit record.
  • Fingerprints must be detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system.
