About the job

Are you prepared to embark on an extraordinary journey with M-KOPA?

As the Retail Team Lead at M-KOPA, you will oversee the operations of our Service Centers, Servicing Depots, and Stock Depots in South Africa. Your leadership will be crucial in training retail staff and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

You will be responsible for stock management in service centers and depots, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. This involves supervising stock controllers, maintaining optimal stock levels, and minimizing discrepancies. You will implement efficient stock control procedures, conduct regular audits, and coordinate with the supply chain and warehouse for timely stock replenishment. Additionally, you will train and support staff in best practices for stock management.

Another key aspect of your role will be shop management, which includes executing shop branding and managing the look and feel of the shops. You will acquire necessary shop permits and oversee renovations and maintenance. In terms of retail training, you will develop and improve the retail knowledge base, manage the training schedule and materials, and address knowledge gaps through training and process improvements.

Furthermore, you will ensure adherence to policies and processes in service centers and depots, implementing improvements where necessary. You will also prepare and present performance reports and key metrics in line with company compliance policies.
