Job Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To)
- Ensure the operational department provides good customer service
- Support customers for special orders
- Build business relationships with customers and suppliers
- Identify more effective suppliers for customer needs
- Ensure that materials are handled in a safe and legal manner
- Assess quality of suppliers
- Establish procedures for abnormal work requirements which fall outside of standard procedures
- Ensure that employees have clear work expectations and plans
- Communicate effective with Management
- Identify potential conflict situation and minimize the implications
- Control discipline and ensure fair decisions regarding
- Employee Relations
- Fairly manage cultural diversity
- Support the induction of new employees
- Identify potential conflict situations and minimize the implications
- Identify ideas to increase motivation
- Ensure competency of employees for the work required
- Advise employees on career opportunities and the requirements to achieve personal growth
- Ensure that require job instructions area available to employees
- Implement and maintain applicable Safety, Regulations, The Act, Codes of Practice and standards
- Complete safety, injury, hazard, risk and incident reports for area
- Ensure that accurate labour records including overtime worked are maintained
- Compile accurate reports
- Conduct required meetings including safety
- Prepare ad-hoc reports for management or other information customers
- Complete audit administration
- Identify opportunities to improve operations
- Participate in improvement
- Support efforts to overcome operational problems projects
- Identify risks and threats to management proactively
