The National Agricultural Marketing Council was established in terms of the MAP Act No. 47 of 1996, as amended by Act No 59 of 1997 and Act No. 52 of 2001. We provide strategic advice to the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries on the marketing of agricultural products.

National Agricultural Marketing Council (NAMC) invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for Internship Programme 2025.

Internship Location Pretoria, Gauteng

1. Communications

Qualifications:

  • National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Marketing

Skills:

  • Problem-solving skills
  • Emotional intelligence
  • Cultural sensitivity
  • Computer and social media skills

2. Company Secretary and Legal

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB)

Key Attributes:

  • Attention to detail
  • Intelligence
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills
  • Familiarity with company operations and legal frameworks

3. Farming Management

Qualifications:

  • N6 in Mixed Farming or Farming Management

4. Economist

Qualifications:

  • Four-year degree in Agricultural Economics or Agribusiness Development
  • Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics or Agribusiness Development will be an added advantage.

5. Human Resources (HR)

Qualifications:

  • 3 years National Diploma in Human Resources Management

Skills:

  • Emotional intelligence
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities

6. Information Technology (IT)

Qualifications:

  • National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related qualification

7. Records Management

Qualifications:

  • National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Records Management, Information Science, Library Science, or Business Administration

8. Risk and Compliance

Qualifications:

  • National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Risk and Compliance, Governance Law

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of risk management practices
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret legal and regulatory requirements

9. Supply Chain Management (SCM)

Qualifications:

  • At least three years Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics

Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Problem-solving capabilities
  • Familiarity with logistical operations and supply chain processes
