Internship Opportunities Available
Participants will support various business functions, including:
- Customer Development (CD): Building relationships with major retailers and driving sales.
- Culinary: Supporting chefs, product demos, trade shows, and digital content creation.
- Marketing: Brand building, consumer engagement, and market growth strategies.
- Supply Chain: Managing sourcing, manufacturing, and product delivery.
- Human Resources (HR): Employee engagement, talent management, and organisational development.
- Finance: Financial planning, analysis, compliance, and reporting.
- Information Technology (IT): Digital transformation and business system support.
- Mechanical Engineering: Exposure to advanced manufacturing and engineering projects.
- Safety, Health and Environment (SHE): Supporting SHE systems to reduce workplace risks.
- Communications: Managing corporate affairs, PR, and internal/external communication.
- Learning & Rewards: Employee training, career development, and reward strategies.
Minimum Requirements
To apply, you must:
- Be a South African citizen aged 18–34 years.
- Be currently unemployed and not studying full-time.
- Have completed Matric (Grade 12).
- Have relevant tertiary qualifications (advantageous).
- Have 0–2 years’ work experience.
- Not have previously participated in a YES Programme.
- Show willingness to commit to a 12-month programme.
- Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and computer skills.
