About the Role

  • We are looking for an Administrative Assistant in our Procurement Department – someone who thrives on detail, supports our supply chain with precision, and strengthens the way we serve our internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
  • You will play a vital role in managing administrative processes that keep our procurement function running smoothly, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency every day.
  • The position will be based at our Distribution Centre in Bethlehem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold high standards in all procurement-related administration.
  • Create, update, and maintain supplier code lists and price lists.
  • Work closely with internal departments, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless communication.
  • Manage invoicing processes and reconcile contra accounts.
  • Monitor and maintain minimum and maximum stock levels to ensure availability.
  • Analyze supplier data and identify key trends to support decision-making.
  • Handle and process claims from both internal branches and external customers.
  • Proactively identify risks and contribute to minimizing them.
  • Support the procurement team with other administrative duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • Grade 12 or NQF4 qualification.
  • Prior experience in procurement administration (advantageous).
  • Strong numeracy and proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Meticulous, accurate, and thorough approach to work.
  • A proactive mindset – always seeking to add value and improve processes.
