The municipality’s composition of urban, semi-urban, and rural environments presents a challenge for sustainable development.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Provide a complete secretarial service to the Directors, Deputy Directors, including cordinating their itinerary and making the necessary travel and business arrangements.
  • Receive visitors and attends to arrangements regarding meetings, presentations and office functions.
  • Establish and mantain a general and confidential filing system.
  • Undertakes research, compiles, distributes agendas and takes minutes at meetings
  • Controls and mantains executive stationery.
  • Co-ordinates and controls incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Performs fast and accurate typing duties.
  • Responsible for controllling telephone calls and incoming and outgoing mail.

Essential Requirements

  • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent and a certificate in the Administrative field.
  • 2 Years relevant experience.
  • Computer literacy.

Preferred Requirements

  • Diploma 12 (NQF Level 6) in Secretarial studies.
  • Valid motor vehicle driving license.
  • 3 Years relevant experience.
