Its factory, Plant Rosslyn, was the BMW Group’s first manufacturing facility outside of Germany and began operations in 1973. Over the decades, it has evolved into a high-capacity, world-class plant producing vehicles for both local and export markets. In 2018, it began producing the BMW X3, exporting over 96% of its output to more than 40 countries.
BMW Group South Africa is offering a world-class Graduate Development Programme for young, ambitious graduates who are eager to gain hands-on work experience with one of the most prestigious automotive brands in the world.
This structured 12-month programme provides comprehensive exposure to BMW’s operations, including on-the-job training, leadership development, and technical mentorship within a dynamic, innovative environment.
Graduates will be placed in one of the following divisions:
- BMW National Sales Company (Head Office, Midrand)
- BMW IT Hub (Menlyn, Pretoria)
- BMW Financial Services (Midrand)
- BMW Plant / Vehicle Distribution Centre (Rosslyn, Pretoria)

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Have completed or be completing their degree by the end of 2025.
- Have graduated within the past 18 months.
- Be currently unemployed.
- Hold a minimum average of 65% across all subjects.
- Be willing to work at the specified BMW Group locations in Gauteng.
