About the Role
- We are looking for an Administrative Assistant in our Procurement Department – someone who thrives on detail, supports our supply chain with precision, and strengthens the way we serve our internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
- You will play a vital role in managing administrative processes that keep our procurement function running smoothly, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency every day.
- The position will be based at our Distribution Centre in Bethlehem.
Key Responsibilities
- Uphold high standards in all procurement-related administration.
- Create, update, and maintain supplier code lists and price lists.
- Work closely with internal departments, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless communication.
- Manage invoicing processes and reconcile contra accounts.
- Monitor and maintain minimum and maximum stock levels to ensure availability.
- Analyze supplier data and identify key trends to support decision-making.
- Handle and process claims from both internal branches and external customers.
- Proactively identify risks and contribute to minimizing them.
- Support the procurement team with other administrative duties as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Grade 12 or NQF4 qualification.
- Prior experience in procurement administration (advantageous).
- Strong numeracy and proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Meticulous, accurate, and thorough approach to work.
