The Northern Cape Department of Health is inviting applications for Administrative Clerk positions in Revenue Management at the Mental Health Hospital in Kimberley. This opportunity is open to dedicated individuals passionate about financial administration within the public health sector.

Minimum Requirements
- Senior Certificate / Matric
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in a Financial Management environment is advantageous
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of:
- Public Financial Management Act (PFMA)
- Public Service Act and Regulations
- Basic Conditions of Employment Act

- Attention to detail and recordkeeping abilities
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Capture patient details accurately, including next of kin and medical aid information
- Classify patients based on income groups
- Collect outpatient cash payments and issue receipts
- Follow up on outstanding patient accounts (including medical aid claims)
- Capture revenue transactions in BAS and perform system reconciliations
- Reconcile revenue between BAS and billing systems
- Safeguard financial and patient records
- Provide timely reports and support audits
- Perform general administrative and clerical support duties
