Key Responsibilities
- Collect information about properties and build/enrich your database (lead generation);
- Generate and qualify leads while maintaining accurate client records;
- Source new properties and secure exclusive mandates;
- Conduct property evaluations and comparative market analyses to determine accurate pricing;
- Provide knowledgeable advice to sellers on their property, the local area, and current market conditions;
- Maintain a thorough understanding of local and national real estate trends;
- Assess clients’ needs and financial capabilities to match them with suitable properties;
- Organise and host show days;
- Represent buyers and sellers in negotiations to achieve successful outcomes;
- Monitor sales processes and liaise with all stakeholders, including mortgage brokers, conveyancers, and other estate agents;
- Build and maintain strong networks with key stakeholders to support successful transactions;
- Deliver excellent after-sales service to foster long-term client relationships;
- Keep up to date on property legislation, compliance requirements, and negotiation strategies;
- Participate in training sessions and work closely with a mentor to develop into a full-status estate agent.
Requirements to become a Full Status Agent:
- Must qualify within 18 months of becoming an Intern or Candidate Property Practitioner;
- Mentored by an experienced property practitioner;
- Complete a Log Book;
- Complete the Real Estate NQF 4 qualification successfully;
- Write the PDE exam as stipulated by the PPRA.
Education & Experience
- Matric/ Grade 12
- Previous experience in sales (any industry);
- Must be in possession of valid driver’s license and your own reliable transport.
