Proxa Water invites students to apply for the Proxa Water Bursary for 2026.
Fields of Study Covered
Bursaries will be awarded for studies in the following fields:
- Chemical Engineering
 - Mechanical Engineering
 
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen (born in South Africa).
 - Must be between 17 and 25 years old.
 - Must have Previously Disadvantaged Individual (PDI) status.
 - Must be currently in Matric (2025) or have completed Matric.
 - Must pass Pure Mathematics (not Maths Literacy) and Physical Science in Matric.
 - Must have achieved a minimum overall average of 75% in Matric.
 - If currently studying, must have achieved at least 65% average in the previous academic year.
 - Must intend to study or be registered to study full-time towards one of the approved qualifications.
 - Must study at an accredited institution in South Africa.

 - Grade 11 final report or June 2025 Matric results (if in Matric)
 - Matric certificate (if completed)
 - Full tertiary academic record (if studying)
 - Proof of tertiary registration/acceptance
 - Proof of household income (latest payslips/affidavit/SASSA grant proof)
 - Proof of residence
 - Proof of disability (if applicable)
 - Curriculum Vitae (CV)
