The mandate of the Department of Energy is to administer all matters related to nuclear energy as required by legislation and international agreements. These can be divided into three key activities, namely Nuclear Safety, Nuclear Technology, and Nuclear Non-Proliferation.
Necsa is offering a twelve (12) month internship opportunity for graduates to work on the Energy Storage programme. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who are looking to gain practical experience in the energy sector.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Age: Applicants must be younger than 35 years.
- Educational Qualification:
- B-Tech in Chemistry from a University of Technology (must have completed the qualification).
Number of Interns Required:
- 2 Interns specializing in Chemistry.
Competencies Required:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- High level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
- Attention to detail, self-motivation, and good time management skills.
- Ability to write technical reports.
