Requirements

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Civil Engineering learners with S4 who need in-service training (P1/P2) to obtain a Diploma/Degree.
• Completed S4 Civil Engineering students with no experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Preference will be given to Student Technicians from Mbhashe Local Municipality as part of youth employment and capacity-building.

Key Performance Areas

• Create detailed plans and blueprints for construction projects using CAD software.
• Assist on construction projects to ensure work stays on schedule and within budget.
• Conduct site visits, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Work with contractors, government officials, and other stakeholders to ensure projects meet requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during construction.
• Monitor adherence to quality standards.
• Compile monthly progress reports.
• Communicate with consultants and stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
