Forvia invites graduates to apply for Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Internships in 2025. The ME Graduate Intern will support the Manufacturing Engineering (ME) team with process improvements, new and existing projects, equipment care, plant layouts, and deployment of Forvia Excellence System (FES) tools. This opportunity is aimed at recent graduates who are eager to kickstart their careers in the automotive manufacturing sector.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting Product & Process Team Leaders with engineering processes
- Supporting FES deployment (ME & Maintenance)
- Participating in Quality Root Cause Investigations (QRCIs)
- Engaging in project rollout and plant layout designs
- Implementing equipment care programs
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, you must:
- Be South African, aged 18–35
- Hold a National Diploma or BTech in Mechanical Engineering
- Have proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Demonstrate good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Be results-oriented and a team player
- Have an international mindset and be fluent in English
- Not have participated in the YES programme before
- Be available to start immediately if selected
