PURPOSE
- This position exists to provide administrative support to the Divisional Human Resources (HR) function.
- To capture and process documentation of a HR-related nature including payroll as well as ensuring compliance to relevant statutory and policy requirements
Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
HR Related Administration
- Receive, verify, follow-up, action and process employee documentation.
- Update internal HR databases.
- Review HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in all disciplinary and employee related matters.
- Assist in the coordination of training related matters.
- Assist in the coordination of communication related matters
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and Fraser Alexander policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support on HR people management processes (talent management, individual development plans, performance development).
- Coordinate process relating to employee onboarding and terminations.
- Participate in HR projects.
General Administration
- Capture meeting minutes as and when required.
- Ensure that all employee queries are dealt with in a professional manner.
- Update and maintain internal company directories.
- Assist with budgets and forecasting as and when required.
- Assist in any other ad hoc administration.
Recruitment, Selection and Placement
- Support the Division with recruitment related activities.
Monthly Reporting and Audits
- Support the HR Business Partner in extracting compiling, distributing and record keeping relating to daily, weekly, monthly payroll and ad hoc HR reports.
- Consolidate and compile various information required for reporting purposes.
- Conduct internal audits on various HR processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Relevant HR National Diploma/Bachelor’s degree
EXPERIENCE
- Two to four years relevant HR administration experience
- Solid HR project administration
- High level HR reporting
