South African Breweries (SAB) is the largest producer and distributor of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in South Africa. The company is owned by the global brewing giant Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev). Founded in Johannesburg by Charles Glass as Castle Brewery to serve the city’s booming gold rush population.
