Eastern Platinum (Eastplats) is a mining and exploration company that operates several platinum group metals (PGM) and chrome assets in South Africa. The company’s operations are located in two primary regions within the Bushveld Complex. This is a platinum group metals (PGM) mine located near the town of Brits in the North West Province, about 70 km north-northwest of Johannesburg. The CRM incorporates several sections, including the Zandfontein, Crocette, and Kareespruit mines.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify for the Eastplats Mine Internship Programme 2025/26, applicants must:

• Be a South African citizen.
• Be an unemployed graduate.
• Hold a relevant degree or diploma in one of the listed fields.
• Possess a valid certificate of fitness (Red Ticket) and be medically fit for duty.
• Be willing and able to work in environments such as underground operations or concentrator plants.
• Submit a comprehensive CV, certified copy of ID, and academic transcripts.

Preference will be given to candidates in line with Eastplats Mine’s Employment Equity Policy.

Successful candidates will be expected to:

• Undergo and pass a medical fitness examination during onboarding.
