Guardrisk, an industry-leading insurer, is offering an exciting 12-month internship programme designed to give unemployed graduates hands-on experience, professional exposure, and personal growth opportunities within the insurance and financial services environment.

Successful candidates will join the organisation on 1 March 2026, working with teams in departments such as underwriting, claims, risk management, and finance.

Programme Purpose

The internship aims to:

  • Provide practical exposure and skills development in financial services and insurance operations.
  • Offer insight into industry best practices, client service, and business processes.
  • Develop understanding of insurance products, customer needs, and market trends.
  • Prepare graduates for future employment by enhancing their professional competency and business acumen.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens.
  • Hold a completed tertiary qualification (Degree or National Diploma).
  • Be currently unemployed.
  • Have not participated in any previous internship programme.
