Job Description To manage and ensure the correct operational control over the Factory replenishment function starting with effective production planning, resulting in the most effective and efficient plan for the factory. This in turn results in improved forecast accuracy and buying, ensuring the availability of stock to ensure 98% availability to fulfil the production plan.  Further to the above the factory replenishment manager will be responsible for all inbound stock and ensure that stock is always counted and controlled at all points ensuring accuracy of the system. Staff management and development ensuring effective process and support to the team. Whilst always adhering to all safety and quality requirements in the store.
Required Skills
·         Degree/qualification in Stores management/Supply chain or related field preferred

·         At least 5 years experiences in stores/stock and team management

·         Computer literate with experience working on an on an integrated ERP system

·         Strong track record of inventory control

·         Must have Knowledge of production planning.

·         Excellent analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail

·         Assertiveness and able to manage and build a successful team

·         Enthusiastic and results driven

·         A valid Code B driver’s license will be advantages

·         Willing to work long hours, weekends and public holidays when required

·         Honest, strong personal ethics and track record of working in a confidential environment

Duties & Responsibilities
·         Dry Store Operations: Process and Procedures are in place to ensure the effective control and supply of material to production, based on the published production plan to ensure 100% adherence.

·         Dry Store Management – to ensure the effective day–to-day running (Inbound) of the Dry Stores Department in terms of effective internal controls & procedures that must be in place.

·         Dry Store Operations: Ensure Effective management of stock, management of risk, lot control and expiry dates.

·         Dry Store Operations: Ensure that all internal control procedures and policies surrounding warehousing and inventory control are in place to maintain 100% accuracy in the BPCS system.

·         Dry Store Operations: Highlight stock at risk, redundant, short dated expired.

·         Feedback on variances in store area of control.

·         Buying Operations: Work with Buyer to maintain stock quantities are held as per business objectives to assist with managing working capital whilst mitigating risk to the factory.

·         Buying Operations: Work with Buyer to ensure that raw materials and packaging are available on time, to supply the production plan.

·         Buyer Operations: Raise and manage quality claim material and work with buyer to return to supplier, ensure material is isolated as per procedure.

·         Buyer Operations: In conjunction with Buyer and HO Procurement team, build and maintain good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.

·         Planning Operations: Ensure best possible site production plan with a focus, on efficiency, loss reduction, and optimal PVA to the business.

·         Planning Operations: Ensure adherence between factory and supply chain planning of planning rules best outcome for both departments.

·         Planning Operations: Ensure internal stakeholder alignment and adherence to the plan.

·         Completion of daily, weekly and monthly reports.

·         Manage the Department budget in relation to cost, ie hours worked, over time, maintenance cost, external warehouse, and transport cost.

·         Pro-active approach to cost saving opportunities.

·         Verification and sign off cycle stock counts before posting and manage stock counts.

·         Month End Procedures and Reports Compiling and analysing monthly Plant stock report and KPI’s with variance explanations to the Finance Manager and Plant Manager.

·         Knowledge, implementation, and adherence of SHER requirements in the Department.

·         Responsible for the Implementation and adherence of the required food safety standards in the Department..

·         Responsible for the above to be in place for both onsite and offsite warehouses related to storage of production materials.

·         Ensure good housekeeping at all times.

·         Build and support personnel in team, ie work development, the delegation and responsibility of function of each person in the Department.

·         Clear KPI and accountability of team members.

·         Run the mini business unit of the department.

·         Attend site operational meetings as required.

·         Site Project lead to ensure effective implementation of new projects, product launches, changes and be the point of reference for the site with external stakeholders.
