Young Boys Beverages handles high volumes of shipments and requires a skilled Logistics and

Bonded Warehouse Coordinator to ensure our supply chains run smoothly.

We’re looking for a candidate with an eye for detail, a keen analytical mind, and the ability to handle a system with numerous moving parts. This often high-pressure position will require candidates to perform at

the apex of their abilities.

Our goals are to make our processes as eficient as possible, maintain

good relationships with suppliers, distributors, and vendors, and keep our customers happy.

The incumbent will be responsible for the overall management of the daily operations for the

Bond functions.

Ensure that operational activities are executed eEiciently, eEectively and ensure administration

is completed timeously and accurately.

The Coordinator in Bond Operations is responsible for coordinating activities engaged in

receiving and dispatching, stacking and space management, duty payments, order filing,

shipping, operating management systems and responsible to maintain inventory and inventory

records in the Bonded warehouse.

Key performance areas – Logistics and Bonded Warehouse Coordinator

• Review and evaluate the processes designed to ensure regulatory compliance and

manage risk in all aspects of the business and take action continuously to improve the

company’s performance in these areas.

• SHERQ Management- ensure best SHERQ practices that align to the company’s

requirements.

• Ensure that the Bond store comply with SARS and Department of Agriculture

requirements.

• Supervise activities in the Bond warehouse and ensure products moved from the

receiving bay/container to the warehouse and from the warehouse to dispatch are in

accordance with company procedures, conduct spot checks on products picked to

ensure accuracy of picking process.

• Plan the outbound activities from the Bond store. Verify orders and Duty payments out

of Bond store

• Duty payments will need to be carried out based on this plan to ensure that suEicient

stock is available for customer orders, coordinate with the planning team and

transporter to ensure loading dates are adhered to.

• Escalation to principal if delays/ challenges experienced that will aEect delivery.

• Monitor stock levels and ensure that stock counts are completed, variance analyses

done, and variances identified and rectified on the system.

• Expedite receipt of orders from suppliers to ensure they are received timeously, ensure

stock is physically received and obtain reasons for the non- delivery of items.

• Manage incoming vehicles/containers, identify new delivery times and dates as per

vessel berthing updates and arrange oEloading staE accordingly.

• Manage and coordinate with shipping lines and ensure that cargo is released and

collected on time.

• manage and coordinate with transporters for the collection on containers from the

depot and delivery to our factory.

• Customs clearing.

• Oversee receiving of products into the Bond warehouse.

• Complete and update all documentation and reports accurately and in full manually or

on a computerised system.

• Coordinate timely and accurate shipments

• Ensure accuracy of orders and shipping documents

• Identify and fix shipping errors

• Prepare bills and invoices

• Oversee production timelines

• Receive orders and add to inventory

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position.

• Bond store experience (min 5 years).

• Warehouse operations training and experience.

• Warehouse management skills.

• Experience in quality management.

• Knowledge and application of innovative and cost business approach.

• Experience in enforcing of organisational management systems, policies and

procedures.

• Computer Literacy: MS OEice with good Excel skills.
