RCL FOODS is seeking for a Machine Minder to join our Baking Division in Speciality Centurion. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Shift Artisan.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric/N3
- 2-3 years in FMCG or mechanical environment will be advantageous
- First Line maintenance course of equivalent would be preferable
- Strong mechanical/Electrical hand on experience (2-3years)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Set up the machine to ensure the required quality standard of product
- Monitor the speed and state of the machine to ensure maximum efficiency
- Highlight and pinpoint problem areas on machinery in order for corrective or preventative action to be carried out
- Report any deviations from quality and food safety standards to Production, QA and Engineering management
- Adhere to the ISO 14000,18000 and 22000 standards in terms of production and machinery operation
- Be able to do schedule work and assist with breakdowns
- Be able to conduct 5 why process
- Be able to identify critical spare parts on equipment.
- Be able to do close out reports and schedules on Computer.
- Understanding of 5 S principles
