Mediclinic Southern Africa is a private hospital group operating in South Africa and Namibia focused on providing acute care, specialist-orientated, multi-disciplinary hospital services and related service offerings. The group currently operates 53 private hospitals and five day clinics throughout South Africa and three hospitals in Namibia with more than 8 000 beds in total.
Mediclinic and ER24 invites suitable students to apply for Bursary programme for 2026 academic year.
Fields of Study Funded
Mediclinic offers a limited number of bursaries towards course fees for students pursuing studies in the following fields:
- Nursing
- Pharmacy
- Emergency Medical Care
Who Should Apply
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Provide Grade 11 or 12 results (if applying for 1st year of study). Results must align with Bachelor’s programme entry requirements.
- Provide academic transcripts/results to date (if currently enrolled in the programme).
- Submit proof of acceptance or registration at a registered institution offering the relevant programme.
- Employment Equity candidates will be given preference.
- The financial status of the applicant and/or their parents will be considered.
Expected Outcomes
All applicants will be assessed fairly; however, preference will be given to:
- Candidates in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Mediclinic Southern Africa.
- Internal applicants/employees who meet the minimum criteria.
