MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
- To ensure that all equipment, plant, building, and services always remain functional to their original state in the safest and most cost-effective way
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Perform Technical jobs within the locality
- Perform administration duties within the technical function
- Identify and mitigate technical risks within the locality
- Coordinate work performed by on-site contractors within the locality
- Maintain client and stakeholder relations within the technical function

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:
- Approriate trade test in Refrigeration

- Trade test certificate & valid driver’s licence Registered SAQCC-Gas (only applicable to South African air-conditioning artisans)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
- More than 8 years of refrigeration artisan (air-conditioning artisan) experience and multi-skilled
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- More than 3 years’ Mediclinic experience
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Trade-specific skills and knowledge – proficiency relative to the role
- Trade-specific policies, procedures, guidelines, and relevant legislature
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Planned maintenance according to set Mediclinic standards
- Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (e.g. OHS and ISO)
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Multi-Skilled (Hospital environment)
- Mentoring of technical team members
