Job Advert Summary

  • Clover is currently recruiting for a Artisan: Millwright. The succesful candidate will responsibile for the effective execution of all maintenance and repairs to plant services. This exciting opportunity is based at the Clover Clayville branch.

Requirements

  • Matric
  • Millwright Trade tested
  • National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering will be advantageous.
  • 5 Years maintenance experience in FMCG environment, including equipment listed above.
  • Understanding of technical drawings and technical guides.
  • Must be able to think analytically and should have problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to function under pressure.
  • Must be willing to work over time, weekends and public holidays when required. Position is a 6 day worker.
  • Must be willing to work shifts and standby.

Duties and Responsibilities

The effective execution of all maintenance and repairs to plant services, including:

  • Production Processing plant
  • Pasteurisers
  • In-line blending equipment
  • Rotary mixing equipment
  • Sterilisers
  • Homogenisers
  • Separators
  • CIP equipment
  • Production filling lines
  • Bottle unscramblers
  • Rotary filling machines
  • Labelling machines
  • Shrink wrapping equipment
  • Crate washers & crate transport equipment

Engineering workshop

  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain any mechanical and electrical equipment
  • The Millwright will be required to work shifts and be available for major maintenance activities over weekends when planned
  • Work according to Clover’s SHE procedures.
  • Actively seeking ways to improve utility performance of site.
  • Perform HAZOP and RCM analysis for all equipment ensuring optimal maintenance on equipment.
  • Do fault finding on failures and below par plant performance.
  • Do fault finding and take corrective action.
  • Do reparation based on “Best Practices” 5’S and GMP
  • Ensure job cards are completed accurately and submitted to head of department daily.
