Key Responsibility Areas
- Ensures the optimal functioning of network security, datacentre and wireless systems and facilities the alignment of information security controls with business objectives.
- Implements, administers and maintains information technology security solutions as well as datacentre network systems and wireless systems controls.
- Provides maintenance to network security, datacentre and wireless systems.
- Ensures the maintenance of network security, datacentre and wireless architecture by advising on future directions in information technology.
- Performs supply chain functions.
- Informs and provides support to project teams in relation to technical issues during the initiation and planning stages of projects& project implementations.
- Provides consultancy service.
- Performs technical evaluations of ICT business solutions.
- Provides input into Network Security Architecture and Standards.
Essential Requirements
- Diploma (NQF Level 6) in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) field.
- Advanced Network Certification.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license.
- 4 Years relevant experience.
- Computer Literacy.
Preferred Requirements
- Degree (NQF Level 7) in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) field.
- 5 Years relevant experience.
