Nongoma Municipality is hiring EPWP General Workers for the 2025/2026 financial year.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be a South African citizen with a valid SA ID
• Aged between 18 and 35 years
• Must reside in Nongoma Municipality
• Proof of residence from Ward Councillor required
• Must be in good physical health (role includes manual labour)
• Good communication skills
• Must be disciplined and able to follow instructions

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general labour duties
• Participate in waste management and cleaning
• Ensure work areas are kept clean and safe for public use
• Handle tools and cleaning materials responsibly

Targeting & Selection Criteria

• Priority will be given to previously disadvantaged individuals
• 60% of selected candidates should be youth
• 55% should be women
• 2% should be people living with disabilities
