Safal Steel [Pty] Ltd is part of the Safal Group of companies. The Safal Group is a major manufacturer and supplier of coated steel and roofing products in Eastern Africa.
Safal Steel is the South African subsidiary of the multinational Safal Group, Africa’s largest producer of steel roofing and sheeting. It is the continent’s first licensed and only local producer of patented aluminium-zinc coated steel coils. The company’s main manufacturing facility is in Cato Ridge, South Africa. Key Performance Areas
- Efficiently and accurately operate equipment according to operating procedures, instructions, and schedules
- Ensure prime quality production in accordance with quality plan
- Adhere to operating requirements were assigned to.
- Continuously reporting to Production Technician on any observed defects /Deviation, unsafe conditions from the operating parameters or production requirements.
- Accurate calibration of gauges during start of shift
- Applying appropriate Roll bending pressures to avoid pinching as per SOP
- Adhere to safe work practice and good housekeeping (6S) Please
Education/Qualification & Experience
- Grade 12, strictly Mathematics & Physical Science
- Manufacturing experience will be an added advantage
