Minimum Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification and/or relevant payroll-related certification is essential.
- 5–8 years’ payroll experience, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Extensive knowledge of Sage 300 People Payroll software, including modules and ESS.
- Advanced Payroll Tax knowledge, including monthly, bi-annual, and annual submissions.
- Strong working knowledge of relevant labour legislation, tax legislation, and bargaining council requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel essential).
- Financial acumen and knowledge of SAP accounting software advantageous.
- Strong experience in PAYE, SDL, UIF, WCA & RMA.
- Must reside in the West Rand area or surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full payroll function: end-to-end processing for multiple entities.
- Payroll reporting to meet statutory and internal obligations.
- Month-end reconciliations and consolidations.
- Reconciliation of PAYE, SDL, UIF, and other legislative returns.
- Preparation and submission of EMP201, EMP501, and SARS-related queries.
- Assist with GL allocations, bonus schedules, and provisions.
- Provide support and guidance on all remuneration and benefits-related matters.
- Preparation of payroll-related reports and management summaries.
- Assist with year-end processing, financial year-end reconciliations, and statutory submissions.
- Support HR with payroll-linked queries, reports, and compliance.
- Assist with bursary and employee benefit processing.
