The Emalahleni Municipal area, which means the “place of coal”, consists inter alia of the towns of eMalahleni, Kwa-Guqa, Ga-Nala and Ogies. The town of eMalahleni was established in 1903. It was named after a ridge of white rock located near the present railway station. In the early years, this ridge was a halting place for transport wagons and a trading post.

SALARY SCALE: TASK GRADE 13 (R451 556,52- R586 135,44) PER ANNUM, EXCLUDING BENEFITS
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- (Grade 12)
- National Diploma in Civil Engineering (NQF Level 6)
- Three (3) years relevant Experience in Project Management.
- Valid Driving licence.
- Good Computer Literacy.
- Diploma in Project Management will be an added advantage.
- Registration with professional body will be an added advantage.
KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS:
- Preparing grant business Plan, Implementation Plan etc.
- Managing of grant funded projects.
- Registering and Reporting projects on MIG-MIS.
- Monitoring projects and Reporting.
- Presenting Projects on the District Appraisal Committee.
- Drafting of Projects Specification.
- Participating on Project evaluation process.
