The Role:

We are looking for a driven team player who will take ownership of the profitable management of our Kingston Grain Depot. This role requires someone who is:

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or NQF4 qualification.
  • Successful completion of the New Manager’s Program (or equivalent).
  • 3–5 years’ proven management experience in the grain industry.
  • Completion of all relevant grain grading and silo operating courses.
  • Strong ability to align with and achieve organizational, operational, and strategic goals.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuous grain flow and protection through monitoring, fumigation, and tube temperature management.
  • Oversee grain tube measurement in line with policy and safety standards.
  • Manage input trade duties, silo operations, and inventory.
  • Handle financial and administrative management with precision.
  • Lead infrastructure upkeep and general management duties.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to farmers and stakeholders.
  • Inspire and guide your team to achieve together.
