- Grade 1: R325 200 per annum (No experience required)
- Grade 2–4: Up to R585 441 per annum (based on years of experience)

Minimum Requirements
- Senior Certificate / Matric
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (or equivalent, SAQA-recognised)
- Current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP)
- Valid driver’s license
- No experience needed for Grade 1 positions
- Up to 30 years’ experience required for Grades 2–4
Key Competencies
- Knowledge of social work theory, intervention methods, and legislation
- Ability to support vulnerable individuals, families, and communities
- Strong report-writing, communication, and analytical skills
- Computer literacy
- Ethical conduct and professional discretion
Main Duties
- Deliver social work services across casework, group work, and community work
- Address social instability and vulnerability
- Supervise and support social auxiliary workers
- Stay current through continuous professional development
- Perform administrative functions linked to social services
