South Cape TVET College offers various programmes: National Certificate Vocational (NCV), Report 191 N1-N6, artisan programmes and various occupational programmes. We have 6 campuses: Beaufort West, Oudtshoorn, George, Mossel Bay, Riversdale and Plettenberg Bay. We are in partnership with UNISA to offer the B Ed Foundation Phase and the Level 5 Certificate in ABET. Graduates requires work placement during and after their studies.

Facilitator Internships Available

POST 22/66: Facilitators – Early Childhood Development (Higher Certificate Level 2)

Number of Posts: 6
Contract Duration: 12 Months (College Council Contract – Fixed Term Project)
Stipend: R8,178.00 per month (no benefits)
Campuses: Bitou, George, Hessequa, Mossel Bay, Oudtshoorn

Requirements:

  • Matric plus 3-year B.Ed Degree
  • 1–3 years teaching/facilitation experience
  • Registered as Assessor with EDTP SETA
  • Computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Bilingual proficiency in at least two of the three Western Cape official languages
  • Advantage: Training in the National Curriculum Framework (NQF)

Duties:

  • Facilitate SETA/QCTO-aligned occupational programmes
  • Monitor workplace practice and learner progress
  • Conduct compulsory workplace visits
  • Adhere to evaluation and policy procedures
  • Perform admin tasks and support Programme Manager

Requirements:

  • Matric plus 3-year Diploma/Degree in IT or Computer Science (NQF Level 6/REQV13)
  • Valid driver’s license (Code 08)
  • Registered Assessor with MICT SETA
  • 1+ years of ICT industry experience
  • Ability to teach in English and one other Western Cape official language
  • Recommendations: Education qualification, strong communication/report writing skills

Duties:

  • Facilitate ICT classes using varied methodologies
  • Plan and deliver lessons, manage learners
  • Coordinate work placements and monitor logbooks
  • Perform programme-related administrative tasks
  • Ensure quality assurance and policy compliance
