The company has faced significant financial and operational challenges, including a debt crisis, widespread corruption, and continuous rolling blackouts known as “loadshedding”. Eskom operates numerous power stations, including coal-fired, nuclear, gas turbine, and hydroelectric plants. It also manages a vast network of transmission lines across the country.
The Learner Technicians programme is a structured learning opportunity for Pupil Technicians to obtain their Diploma in Chemical/Analytical Chemistry at TR2 level. The programme combines institutional learning with on-the-job training to prepare participants for a career within the energy sector.
Minimum Requirements
- Fully completed S4 / S5 qualification in Chemical or Analytical Chemistry.
- Must be a South African Citizen.
Key Responsibilities
