Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) is one of six operating divisions of Transnet SOC Limited. TNPA is a world-class Port Authority that owns, operates, and controls South Africa’s port system on behalf of the state.

This is a 24-month structured training programme designed to provide hands-on experience under the supervision of qualified professionals.
Internship Overview
The Graduate Internship Programme aims to bridge the gap between academic studies and practical work experience. Successful candidates will be placed in departments aligned with their qualifications, including:
- Supply Chain Management
- Corporate Communication / Public Relations / Journalism (Port Management)
Minimum Requirements
- South African citizen aged between 18–35 years
- Must have no prior work experience in the field of study
- Must hold a relevant Degree or National Diploma in:
- Supply Chain Management (for SCM Department)
- Corporate Communication, Public Relations, or Journalism (for Port Management)
- Preference will be given to applicants residing in Saldanha Bay Municipality and surrounding areas

Key Responsibilities
- Follow a structured 24-month training programme
- Undergo regular performance reviews and assessments
- Perform duties as required in line with the development programme and departmental needs
Required Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
