  • Are you a hands-on, detail-oriented professional with experience in warehouse operations? We’re looking for a dependable and proactive Warehouse Controller to assist in managing our warehousing complex and ensure efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods.

About the Role:

  • As a Warehouse Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of our warehousing complex. Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, you’ll help plan storage layouts, optimise inventory flow, and maintain high standards of accuracy, safety, and compliance.

Minimum Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a similar role: 2 years or more
  • Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / Matric //Diploma/Degree
  • Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety standards.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead, guide, and support warehouse staff effectively.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accurate records and processes.
  • Proficiency in warehouse systems and basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management systems

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of day-to-day warehouse operations within your designated section.
  • Plan and allocate storage space effectively, considering turnover, size, weight, and storage requirements of stock.
  • Advise and support warehouse staff on best practices for the care, handling, and preservation of items.
  • Provide guidance on equipment usage, handling methods, and storage techniques.
  • Monitor and review records to ensure accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to stock management, storage, and distribution.
  • To ensure the daily shift operation is executed in accordance with the Plan.
  • To ensure all stock movement is executed and documented correctly and efficiently.
  • To ensure all relevant Checklists are correctly updated in accordance with HSSE.
  • To stand-in for the Warehouse Supervisor as required.
