Westfalia Marketing, situated in Tzaneen, is currently seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as: Documentation Coordinator
Purpose of the role:
Reporting to the Export Sales Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving the success of Westfalia Marketing by excelling in a high-performance, results oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively executing the business strategy to channel fruit into the export market
- Ensuring compliance with best practices in Export Logistics
- Maintaining the integrity of the cold chain process
- Ensure delivery of high-quality products to meet customer expectations
- Demonstrate commitment to excellence in operations
Requirements: Education & Experience
- Degree in International Trade or Supply Chain Management will be beneficial
- 2-3 years’ Experience in the fruit industry, with insight into export documentation
- Understanding of Logistics
- Account Management Knowledge will be an advantage
- Knowledge of Pal broker / Pal track
- Experience dealing with export documentation processes
- Understanding of Freight Forwarding and Customs Clearance Processes
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel, with the ability to utilize pivot tables to summarize data, and reconcile figures
- Strong focus on detail is very important
- The ability to work in a high stress environment with regular deadlines associated with the process of exporting fruit.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to adapt to change
