Westfalia Marketing, situated in Tzaneen, is currently seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as: Documentation Coordinator

Purpose of the role:

Reporting to the Export Sales Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving the success of Westfalia Marketing by excelling in a high-performance, results oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively executing the business strategy to channel fruit into the export market
  • Ensuring compliance with best practices in Export Logistics
  • Maintaining the integrity of the cold chain process
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality products to meet customer expectations
  • Demonstrate commitment to excellence in operations

Requirements: Education & Experience

  • Degree in International Trade or Supply Chain Management will be beneficial
  • 2-3 years’ Experience in the fruit industry, with insight into export documentation
  • Understanding of Logistics
  • Account Management Knowledge will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Pal broker / Pal track
  • Experience dealing with export documentation processes
  • Understanding of Freight Forwarding and Customs Clearance Processes
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel, with the ability to utilize pivot tables to summarize data, and reconcile figures
  • Strong focus on detail is very important
  • The ability to work in a high stress environment with regular deadlines associated with the process of exporting fruit.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change
