This research aims to address critical skills gaps, evaluate labour market trends, and explore the implications of 4IR technologies on workforce competencies. Key Responsibilities
As a W&RSETA Postdoctoral Research Fellow, you will:
- Support the implementation and update of the W&RSETA Research Agenda.
- Participate in ongoing research projects.
- Develop research tools, methodologies, and implementation plans.
- Conduct data gathering and analysis.
- Write comprehensive research reports.
- Present findings and contribute to the W&RSETA summative research publication.
- Engage with stakeholders within the Wholesale and Retail sector.
Who Should Apply?
To qualify for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:
- PhD qualification (preferably in Economics, Developmental Studies, Psychology, or a sector-related field).
- Proven ability to publish papers in accredited peer-reviewed journals.
- Experience with data analysis and large-scale data sets.
- South African citizenship, with preference given to applicants from designated groups.
