EThekwini Municipality is a metropolitan municipality in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. Created in 2000, it includes the coastal city of Durban and its surrounding towns and rural areas. The Zulu word eThekwini means “ocean and bay lagoon”. The landscape features a warm, subtropical climate, extensive beaches, hilly regions, gorges, and ravines. The municipality’s composition of urban, semi-urban, and rural environments presents a challenge for sustainable development.
Job Purpose:
- To provide employment relations, advisory service and consequence management support to executive management and guide the Municipality on the constitutional and statutory duties.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree (NQF Level 7) in Human Resource Management or any other related and equivalent qualification. Valid motor vehicle driving license.
- 4 years relevant experience in Employment Relations or Human Resources or Labour Law related environment.
