Position Overview
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a qualified and experienced Clinic Practitioner (Clinic Sister) to join its Queenswood clinic in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and operating a Primary Health Care Clinic within the pharmacy environment while delivering exceptional patient care in accordance with South African healthcare regulations and professional nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver Comprehensive Primary Healthcare Services
- Perform Clinic Sister duties in accordance with healthcare regulations and best-practice clinical standards.
- Conduct patient consultations, assessments, screenings, and health evaluations.
- Deliver preventative healthcare services and health promotion initiatives.
- Provide treatment recommendations and patient education.
- Ensure excellent patient experiences and high-quality healthcare outcomes.
Clinic Management and Operations
- Manage the daily operations of the Primary Health Care Clinic.
- Monitor patient flow and clinic performance indicators.
- Establish and achieve clinic operational objectives.

Patient Administration and Record Keeping

Inventory and Equipment Management
- Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate clinic supplies.

Stakeholder Relationship Management
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with:

Minimum Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Tertiary qualification in General Nursing.
- Degree or Diploma in Midwifery.
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Ability to obtain BHF Registration.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Primary Health Care Clinic Sister.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Advantageous Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Primary Health Care Clinic experience.
- Experience working with Patient Record Systems.
- Knowledge of CKS and Allegra systems.
