Oudtshoorn Municipality is a local municipality within the Garden Route District Municipality, in the Western Cape province of South Africa. As of 2022,
Oudtshoorn Municipality invites eligible South African students to submit applications for the Bursary Programme for the academic year 2025.
The bursary is available for students residing within the Greater Oudtshoorn Municipality, Western Cape (including rural areas), who are pursuing or planning to pursue studies in any field towards a Graduate Degree or Diploma in 2025.

- Notification: Only successful candidates will be contacted within 30 working days after the closing date. If you do not receive feedback, consider your application unsuccessful.
- Disqualification: Canvassing will result in automatic disqualification.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must reside within the Greater Oudtshoorn Municipality, Western Cape.
- Must be currently in Matric or have completed Matric.
- Must be studying or intending to study full-time towards a qualification in 2025.
- Must be enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited South African tertiary institution.
- Must have a strong academic record.
- Applications from previously disadvantaged groups and students with disabilities are encouraged.

Supporting Documents Required
Ensure to submit certified copies and clear copies of the following documents:
- ID document
- Matric results (if in Matric) or Matric certificate (if completed)
- Full tertiary academic record (if currently studying)
- Proof of registration/admission at a tertiary institution
- Proof of residential address
- Proof of household income (latest payslips or affidavit if unemployed)
