Fields of Study Covered

DTSA is offering bursaries for undergraduate studies in the following fields:

  • Engineering: Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics
  • Finance: Applied Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, Financial Management
  • Human Resource Management
  • Information Technology
  • Legal: LLB
  • Marketing: Communication, Digital Media, Public Relations
  • Procurement, Supply Chain, and Logistics

Bursary Coverage

The bursary covers:

  • Registration fees
  • Tuition fees
  • Books

Selection Process

  • Shortlisted candidates will be notified by 31 January 2025. If you don’t hear back by then, consider your application unsuccessful.
  • Final 2024 academic results (Matric or tertiary) will play a key role in the selection process.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, applicants must:

  1. Be a South African citizen under 35 years old.
  2. Be in Matric or have completed Matric.
  3. Be studying or planning to study full-time towards an undergraduate degree in one of the listed fields.
  4. Be attending or intending to attend a registered and accredited South African university.
  5. Have achieved:
    • A minimum 70% average in Matric or
    • A minimum 65% average at the tertiary level.
  6. Preference will be given to students studying in Pretoria and East London.
