- Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
- 2 years of experience in operating dozers
Your successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
- Operate bulldozers/dozers and attachments to cut, move, push, spread, backfill, and grade soil and materials.
- Read site plans, grade stakes, and use GPS/grade control systems to meet specifications.
- Perform pre-shift and post-shift machine inspections; report defects and coordinate basic maintenance.
- Maintain safe operating practices: follow traffic control, flagging, and site-specific safety rules.
- Coordinate with supervisors, spotters, and other equipment operators to complete tasks efficiently.
- Manage fuel, fluids, and basic lubrication checks as required.
- Keep the work area clean of hazards and properly store attachments and tools.
- Complete daily logs and report progress to the site superintendent.
