Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and setup of fumigation equipment and materials
- Collaborate with the senior fumigator to implement fumigation plans
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of fumigation equipment
- Apply fumigants using approved methods
- Ensure the effectiveness of quality control procedures and systems
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- Keep track of fumigation materials and equipment stock levels, ensuring an adequate supply is available for operations
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate
- Fumigation Certificate
- Valid PDP with Dangerous Goods endorsement
- 2 years’ experience in fumigation and grain storage
