Purpose of the job:
- To maintain the overall effectiveness of equipment and plant on site
Responsibilities:
- Technical support/Trouble shooting
- On the job training
- System maintenance – attend to breakdowns and general plant maintenance.

Qualification Requirements
- Matric
- N2 or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Experience Requirements
- 1 years’ experience in a production factory
- 2 years’ experience as an artisan assistant will be an added advantage
Skills and Competencies
- Expert knowledge in engineering
- Basic welding, grinding and painting will be an added advantage
- Industry knowledge – Food safety and Health and safety
- Analytical skills
- Accuracy / Attention to detail
- Communication skills
- Decision making ability
- Problem solving ability
Working Conditions
- Factory environment – hot and noisy
- Working with and on heavy plant equipment (technical and mechanical)
- Required to work Saturdays, Sundays, Night Shift and Public Holidays as per shift roster
