The Department of Employment and Labour is recruiting 67 UI Claims Officers at various centres in KwaZulu-Natal to support UIF claims processing and administrative duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
  • 0–6 months experience
  • Knowledge of UIF legislation, Public Service regulations, and Batho Pele principles
  • Skills: Good communication (verbal and written), computer literacy, decision-making, customer relations

Duties:

  • Receive, assess and process UIF claims
  • Register employers and verify employee declarations
  • Execute approved payments and handle enquiries
  • Perform related administrative functions
