The Ministry of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA) comprises two departments: the Department of Cooperative Governance (DCoG) and the Department of Traditional Affairs (DTA).

This recruitment drive seeks passionate individuals to help improve communication between government and communities, promote development initiatives, and ensure effective service delivery at local level. These roles fall under IGR, MPP, IDP, RR, and Stakeholder Management.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)
- National Higher Certificate/Diploma (NQF Level 5) in relevant field
- 1–2 years of experience in community development
- Computer literacy and a valid Code B driver’s licence
- Understanding of community development facilitation and municipal processes
- Knowledge of government programmes and policies

Key Duties
- Disseminate government and other important information to communities
- Help communities access basic services and government programmes
- Supervise and coordinate local development projects and work teams
- Assist in the development and submission of Integrated Development Plans (IDPs)
- Liaise with NGOs, public entities, and the private sector
- Promote Batho Pele principles and community engagement
- Support HIV/AIDS awareness and education efforts
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of government programmes at the local level
