EasyPay Everywhere is available and serviced through a widespread network of EasyPay Everywhere branches, in-store retailer branches, remote pop-up branches, voice branch and ATMs to broaden financial access for our customers. EasyPay Everywhere functionality includes cash withdrawals and deposits, balance enquiries, statements and debit orders with simple and transparent transactional fees. With EasyPay Everywhere, banking customers are able to build up a financial profile that opens a range of financial opportunities, including access to lending solutions via EasyPay Loans and access to simple, relevant funeral cover via EasyPay Insurance.

The EasyPay Everywhere Tech Skills Bursary is designed to support talented tertiary students who are dependents or relatives of EasyPay Everywhere account holders. If you’re pursuing a career in STEM or Technology fields, this bursary offers financial aid to help you reach your goals.

Fields of Study

The bursary is open to students in the following fields:

  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology
  • Information Systems
  • Data Science
  • Mechatronics
  • Software Development
  • Computer Engineering
  • Cloud Engineering
  • Business Analysis
  • Mathematics
  • Statistics

Bursary Benefits

  • Registration and Tuition Costs: Up to R100,000 per year.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, you must:

  1. Be a tertiary student at an accredited South African institution of higher learning.
  2. Be studying in a qualifying Technology/STEM-related field.
  3. Have completed your first year of study with a minimum 65% average.
  4. Be a dependent or relative of an active EasyPay Everywhere account holder.
  5. Apply before the deadline: 27 January 2025.

Required Documents

Applicants must provide the following:

  • Certified copy of your ID document.
  • Full academic record (on tertiary institution letterhead).
  • Latest academic transcripts/exam results (certified copy).
  • Proof of enrolment in a Tech-related field of study.
  • Proof of household income (e.g., payslips, affidavit if unemployed, pension statement).
  • Proof of relationship with or dependence on an EasyPay Everywhere account holder (e.g., affidavit).
  • EasyPay Everywhere account holder’s ID number (copy).
  • EasyPay Everywhere account holder’s account number.
