Main Focus Areas
The handyman is to perform basic maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment and other small jobs that may be required from time and time.
Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)
• To perform basic maintenance of building, grounds, equipment and other small jobs that is required from time-time • Perform unsupervised basic maintenance of hospital facilities and equipment • Unsupervised tasks will include (but not limited to) • Painting • Basic Plumbing and maintenance of water reticulation • General cleaning and maintenance of Hospital property, workshops and plant rooms • Ensuring that all the public areas, Wards, Theatres, ICU’s, waiting areas and entire hospital facility is well maintained • Interact with external and internal customers in and around the facility • Ensure job cards, plans and maintenance requests are carried out and completed to qualityhigh standards • Ensure that maintenance performed is according to required Health and Safety standard.
